Real Wedding: Anaka + Manu

Anaka and Manu are one of those couples that exude warmth and love. The bond they share is visible right away, and they seem to be riding such a happy, tranquil, loving train that it really warms my heart to be able to help in a small way to make their wedding vision come to life. Their wedding was a unique marrying of two cultures, and they fully embraced the use of color and embellishment, from the incredible sarees Anaka and her bridal party wore, the multi-textured, funky mandap Bows and Arrows created (love the way they incorporated paper tassels and tie-dye!), to the bright ombre cakes and macarons Anaka requested for the cake table! Even her little menu cards by Blue Eye Brown Eye were bright and funky yellows, blues, pinks with elephants. No detail was overlooked here with planners extraordinaire After Yes at the helm. These gorgeous photos by Ben Q Photography just make me giddy. A color-lover's dream!

The elephants BEBE incorporated into the menu cards were inspired by these adorable toppers from Anaka. Truly unique and proof that your cake can be beautiful and custom-made just for you, without fondant.

So gorgeous. Lush, asymmetrical blooms in an ornate vessel with an asymmetrical carnation garland swagging the table. Perfect execution!

I loved decorating this cake with flowers from Bows and Arrows. So many gorgeous blooms and textures to work with, it was hard to stop adding to it!

Beautiful couple.
